The group assembles at Majnu Ka Tila by 08:30 PM
You'll meet the Trip Leader at the Majnu Ka Tila.
After which, there will be an overnight journey to Shimla.
After arriving at shimla, you will transfer to Tempo Traveller, then we start our epic Himalayan road trip to Kalpa.
Legend has it that Kalpa was the winter home of Lord Shiva. If it’s true, he couldn’t have found a more remarkable abode for himself, with enthrallingly majestic views of the Kinner-Kailash and Jorkandan peaks looming right above the village.
Enroute we will take a halt near Theog or Narkanda for breakfast and soak in the much-needed #mountainvibes. Post breakfast, we will drive ahead to reach the beautiful kalpa.
After arriving in Kalpa, check in to our cozy homestay, freshen-up and have some leisure.
Feel free to take a stroll around this gorgeous village and treat your stomach with a plate of hot momos in Kalpa local market.
In the evening, enjoy a warm bonfire, savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay at Kalpa.
Have a healthy breakfast and leave for Kalpa sightseeing.
Visit 3000 year old kalpa monastery and the suicide point which offers a picturesque view of the kailash ranges. Afterwards will head out towards Sangla, here we will be visiting the historical village of Kamru and catch the sunset from the temple.
Dinner with Overnight Homestay at Sangala/Rakchham.
Today we will visit the main temple of Sangla, where we will watch Ramayana characters get ready for the procession. We will walk through the Village around Sangla, Dance on the beats of Kinnauri music, Eating with Locals, and also getting a taste of the Local liquor (Phasur).
Dinner with Overnight Homestay at Sangala.
Early morning, after breakfast we will leave for Chitkul.
After arriving in Chitkul, take a stroll around the village and visit Mathi Temple dedicated to the Goddess of the local people of Kinnaur. Treat your stomach with a satisfying plate of steamy momos or rajma chawal at ‘Hindustan Ka Akhri Dhaba’. What can be more magical than relaxing near to the pristine Baspa River? A perfect location in the lap of majestic Himalayas to disconnect from the urban madness and connect with nature.
Post-Chitkul village exploration, quickly head towards Nag Mandir in Sangla to experience the Holika Dahan ritual, with people dressing traditionally and dancing in a huge circle around Holika.
Dinner with Overnight stay.
Today is the day of Faguli - the Festival marks the beginning of spring.
In afternoon we'll continue our journey towards Sarhan.
Sarahan is known for the Bhimakali Temple, rest of the day is at leisure.
Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Sarahan
Embark on our return journey After early morning breakfast, and head towards Shimla.
Upon reaching, we will indulge in local sightseeing at the mall road and local market.
In the evening, we will start our overnight Drive to Delhi via Volvo.
On the 8th day of this Kinnaur holi tour, we head back to our homes with a heavy heart but plenty of memories, new friends and such unique experiences that will stay with us for years to come.

1 rain jacket and 1 rain pant. (If you don’t have a rucksack cover then you can carry a poncho instead of a rain jacket. )

1 pair of synthetic hand gloves (For easy grip over anything or to keep yourself warm).
1 sun cap or hat, so it can provide you protection from sunstroke, headache, and dehydration.

1 woolen neck warmer or scarf to keep your neck warm.
