Western ridge of kedarkantha will give you a spectacular view of sunset from every camp.
 
                                        
                                            On arrival at Dehradun railway station, you will meet our representative and then we will travel to Gaichwan Gaon.
On the way, you can stop near Mori to see the beautiful landscape next to the Tons river.
The journey to Gaichwan Gaon will take almost 8-9 hours.
Reach Gaichwan Gaon by evening arrival assistance followed by the introduction of our Trek leader and Support staff.
After the briefing, we will camp overnight at Gaichwan gaon village.
The day ends with dinner, Relax & Charged up for the next Day.
 
                                        
                                            Post Breakfast, The trek starts from Gaichawan Gaon.
The attraction of this pathway is that it goes through the apple orchard and thick jungle of Pine along with the very old culture of Haltari village.
Haltari is a small village with a cluster of homes. Here we get mesmerizing views of Rupin Valley.
From here, the trail goes inside a tiny forest where we will be able to see a pretty clearing amidst pines and oaks.
After this we will enter into an intense forest of pine and oak.
After some elevation we see the Rupin river. As we walk further, we will enter Raj Odari, which is a small clearing.
From here is a gradual anabasis till we get to a brook. The trail from here to a steep section is there to reach a clearing. It is Jalota.
Being a moderate hike it will take 5-6 hrs to reach Jalota.
We will be having lunch there then will be witnessing the mesmerizing sunset while having snacks.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Jalota.
 
                                        
                                            Today, we will start our day with silent prayer to Mother Nature and Breakfast will be served.
Post Breakfast we’ll start our trek from Jalota.
Within A km from Jalota, we will reach an alpine pasture, called Siunn Ka Thatch.
Walking through a suburb of the forest we will witness “Mowru Ka Thatch” ,a clearing covered by dense rhododendron trees.
Down the line you are going to witness Pukhrola Meadow (Our Kedarkantha Basecamp),an amphitheatre-like place with the breathtaking views of mountain ridges and ranges.
We will be having our lunch then will go for acclimatisation.
During snacks again enjoy a breathtaking sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at Pukhrola.
 
                                        
                                            After having a delightful breakfast, We will step forward to our final summit.
We will start our trek from Pukhrola.
The route goes through western ridge of the mountain. It takes 2-3 hours to reach the summit by this pathway.
We will see Chansil Pass, Rupin Valley, Har Ki Dun Valley and some of other peaks including Jaonli, Gangotri, Draupadi Ka Danda and Jokanden.
After experiencing the serene beauty of the summit , we will retrace our way to Pukhrola.
Then we will have our lunch and move towards Akhoti Thatch which is 2-3 kms away from Pukhrola.
Being a long trek it will take 8-9 hrs for the day.
Once we reach, we will have our Snacks.
Overnight stay at Pukhrola after dinner.
 
                                        
                                            After having breakfast, we will head towards Gaichawan Gaon.
The trek goes through Bold Oak and Rhododendron's jungle.
After a 2 km trek from Akroti Thatch, We will witness a place called Sada, an opening with beautiful old wooden huts.
This journey has been taken from the jungle book itself.
Being an easy hike it will take 4 hrs to reach Gaichwan Gaon.
After having lunch you can explore the village as you have plenty of time.
Overnight stay and dinner.
 
                                        
                                            After breakfast depart for Dehradun.
Don't forget to spent some time near Mori along with Tons river.
It will be an 8-9 hours drive back to Dehradun.
 
                                    From Delhi ordinary bus/Volvo Bus/Train to Dehradun and further to Netwar by Bus/Share Cab and then Gaichwan Gaon by Share Cab.
Delhi to Dehradun Ordinary Bus 550 INR, Volvo Bus 950 INR.
Dehradun to Netwar Bus 370 INR, Share Car 500 INR.

At Least 2 full sleeve t-shirts must be dry fit (Big No for cotton t-shirt)
2 trek pants must be dry fit with zippered pockets, so you can put your mobile, hanky or snacks (Big No for Jeans)
1 pair of Thermal wear.
1 Padded jacket or down jacket.
2 sweaters or fleece jackets.
1 rain jacket and 1 rain pant. (If you don’t have a rucksack cover then you can carry a poncho instead of a rain jacket. )
4 pairs of sport socks must be dry fit.
1 pair of woolen socks to keep your feet warm.
1 pair of synthetic hand gloves (For easy grip over anything or to keep yourself warm).
1 sun cap or hat, so it can provide you protection from sunstroke, headache, and dehydration.
1 woolen head cap/ balaclava, so that it can protect your ears from cold sensitivity.
1 woolen neck warmer or scarf to keep your neck warm.
Under garments according to your comfort but shouldn't be too many.
Sunscreen.
Toiletries like small size toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, moisturizer along with Toilet roll (As you’ll not be able to have a bath on trek so don't need to overload it with shampoos & other stuff.

Personal medical kit including Paracetamol 500, Avomine, Combiflam, Omez, ORS (6 packets), Knee Brace, Diamox or Acetazolamide, Loperamide, Dexamethasone, and Nifedipine.
Sunglasses with UV Protection, so that it can provide you protection from harmful UV rays or snow blindness (If you wear specs, then you can get oversized glasses which you can wear over your regular specs).
1 Headlamp, so that your hands can get free to do other things

                                                Stay is included from Day 1 to Day 5 (Gaichwangaon to Gaichwangaon). You will be staying in Basecamp at Gaichwan gaon and camping on the remaining days of the trek.

Please note that Airfares are subject to change without notice. If you have purchased a ticket and subsequently the fares have increased then you will be required to pay the difference. However, if you decide to change your travel dates, which requires re-issuance of the ticket, the same ticket will be repriced at the applicable fare at the time of making changes and the difference would have to be paid.
Room heater charges are extra and it's not included in any of our packages. If you need one you can directly contact to Hotel reception.

If Tempo Traveller is unable to move due to Snowfall, Landslide, etc. then Barefoot Trekians will not bear the extra charges of small 4x4. Either wait till clearing or Pay for the extra service.

We would not be liable for theft or misplaced items.
However in some exceptional cases if you might need to opt for offloading then the charges would be INR 350/day. And in that case you must have a day pack.

Before accepting the rental items we want you to check the equipment conditions, make sure those are proper and you need to keep a security deposit for each item.
